Dr. Jess Whidden has made an exciting return to the Destin and Miramar Beach community, bringing her expertise to the team at Emerald Coast Chiropractic following the completion of her postgraduate education. A proud graduate of Fort Walton Beach High School, Dr. Jess earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science from Auburn University before achieving her Doctor of Chiropractic degree at Life University in Marietta, Georgia.
With a versatile skill set, Dr. Jess excels in a wide range of chiropractic adjusting techniques and therapeutic modalities utilized at Emerald Coast Chiropractic, ensuring patients receive personalized, effective care tailored to their needs.
Her advanced training has also earned her the prestigious title of “Rock Doc” through Rocktape’s Functional Movement Techniques (FMT) program—a two-part kinesiology taping certification guided by top experts in movement assessment and therapy. Dr. Jess’s dedication to cutting-edge methods enhances her ability to support patients in achieving optimal health and mobility.
Dr. Jess is also certified by the American Veterinary Chiropractic Association (AVCA) having completed the animal chiropractic certification program at Parker University in Dallas, TX to bring a new aspect of chiropractic care back to the area for your animals big and small!
She was involved in sports throughout high school and went on to excel in collegiate softball. She has a love for being on the water from working many years on the docks here in the area. She is currently a resident of Destin with her dog, Leo.
